We are looking for candidates for a PhD  position in automata theory in LIS Marseille, France. A Masters degree with a strong background in theoretical computer science is required. The PhD will be jointly supervised by C. Aiswarya (Chennai Mathematical Institute) and Benjamin Monmege (LIS, Marseille). The student will be based in Marseille, with an option to visit Chennai Mathematical Institute for research discussions. The earliest starting date is October 1, 2025.
