Dear Colleagues, We are happy to announce that the third edition of the Workshop on Automata and Games for Synthesis (WAGS) will take place at IIT Delhi on December 19th, as a post-conference workshop of FSTTCS. Please see below the call for talk proposals. *Please distribute the call, consider submitting and encourage your fellow researchers and students to submit their best work of the year! * *-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------* * CALL FOR CONTRIBUTED TALKS* * Workshop on Automata and Games for Synthesis (WAGS) New Delhi, India December 19, 2026 Co-located with Foundations of Software Technology and Theoretical Computer Science (FSTTCS) 2026 <https://www.fsttcs.org.in/2026/>* *---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Workshop website: https://sites.google.com/view/wagsfsttcs2026/home <https://sites.google.com/view/wagsfsttcs2026/home>===================About the workshop===================The third iteration of the *Workshop on Automata and Games for Synthesis* is an on-site event happening on December 19th, 2026, in New Delhi, India. It is co-located with Foundations of Software Technology and Theoretical Computer Science (FSTTCS) 2026, the premier international computer science conference in India, and held annually in December since 1981. Automated synthesis of systems from specifications has been a longstanding goal of computer science. The workshop focuses on various aspects by which automata and game solving are used to tackle problems motivated by synthesis. The workshop will feature invited speakers and some sessions with short presentations. For the short presentations, early-career researchersare encouraged to talk about their research in 10–15 minute sessions (exact length will depend on the number of contributions). For submission, we solicit a title and an abstract for the talk here: <https://forms.gle/9wyyUf73418GbPATA <https://forms.gle/9wyyUf73418GbPATA>>The workshop does not have proceedings; therefore previously published talks or ongoing work are both encouraged to be presented. Topics for presentation at the workshop include, but are not limited to, the following:Automata TheoryReactive SynthesisGames on Finite and Infinite GraphsComputational aspects of Game TheoryConcurrency and Distributed computationFormal LanguagesGames and Automata for VerificationSpecification and Verification of Finite and Infinite-state Systems============================Important dates============================Early Submission Deadline: November 13th, 2026 AOEEarly Notification: November 14th, 2026 (notifications sent on a rolling basis, keeping in mind the early-bird registration deadline for FSTTCS)Final Submission Deadline: November 25th 2026 AOEFinal Notification November 30th 2026Workshop December 19th, 2026============================Submission of contributed talks at: <https://forms.gle/9wyyUf73418GbPATA <https://forms.gle/9wyyUf73418GbPATA>>=============Invited speakers=============Jean-François Raskin (Université Libre de Bruxelles)S Akshay (IIT Bombay)And more to be announced.* *=============Organizers=============Anirban MajumdarSuman SadhukhanSanchari SilVaishnavi Vishwanath* *=============Participation=============* *Registration details: TBA soon.
